Lauren Waldinger

Lauren Waldinger holds a Master of Education in Instructional Design and Adult Education from City University of Seattle, where they were awarded President’s Honors for their academic excellence. Lauren’s focus as a graduate student was equity in education, and they completed substantial research on topics such as curriculum best practices, teacher education, and assessment.

Lauren has been a teacher at the secondary level, where they served students of diverse backgrounds in an alternative school setting, and has worked extensively as a reading, writing, and study skills tutor for students of all ages. In their free time, Lauren has volunteered to support bilingual students in their English language development. A native of Portland, Oregon, Lauren now lives in Olympia, Washington and enjoys spending time with their two children and engaging in creative projects.
