Jenna Thompson

Jenna received her BA in Business Administration from Northeastern University and her MA in TESOL from Payap University. Previously, she spent 5 years working as an English Language Fellow (US Department of State) in Senegal (2 years) and China (3 years). During her 5 years as a teaching fellow with the State Department, she conducted teacher trainings at local US Embassies and Consulates in China, Senegal, and Mali. She also instructed writing workshops for students applying to exchange, undergraduate, and graduate programs in top US universities. Additionally, she taught academic writing in the English Department and supervised 4th-year students in the completion of their BA Theses at Beijing Normal University.

Jenna also taught English and Math as a Peace Corps Volunteer in The Gambia (2004-2006). Since the Peace Corps, she has worked in education for 15 years. She has an Advanced Certificate in College Counseling from the University of California, San Diego, and enjoys working with students to achieve their college dreams.
