In Transformations, we take what students have learned in Foundations and we apply those skills to the SAT Critical Reading and Writing sections. Students learn the best way to mark up a passage for the SAT, how to quickly scan Critical Reading passages to find the main point, and and how to identify subtle clues that change the tone of these passages. In short, students can raise their scores on the Critical Reading section of the SAT.

Additionally, we teach vocabulary in context for the words and roots that most frequently appear on the SAT. There are over 250,000 words in the English language. Not all of them have an equal chance of appearing on the SAT. Transformations trains students to master the important vocabulary.

• Learn the core 200 words and roots the highest scoring students know
• Master grammar rules and write the perfect SAT essay
• Receive detailed scoring and analyses for three SAT practice exams
• Dramatically raise their scores by learning to identify which questions to answer…and which to avoid

The course runs on Saturdays and Sundays, from August 30 through September 28, in preparation for the October 4 SAT Reasoning Test.
